Through ways only God can direct, Pastor Adam and his family came to Richmond First in June 2023. Pastor Adam was raised in the Church of the Nazarene and has been in pastoral ministry since 2006. Pastor has an extensive background in addition to the pastorate, he has served as a police officer, EMS personnel and owned a radio station! He
Through ways only God can direct, Pastor Adam and his family came to Richmond First in June 2023. Pastor Adam was raised in the Church of the Nazarene and has been in pastoral ministry since 2006. Pastor has an extensive background in addition to the pastorate, he has served as a police officer, EMS personnel and owned a radio station! He currently serves as a chaplain for Richmond Police Department and is a varsity basketball official for the IHSAA! Prior to coming to Richmnond First, he served as pastor in Vevay, Madison and Austin, Indiana.
Pastor Adam shares in the ministry with his wife and best friend of 20 years, Greta; three amazing kids, Sara (15), Alliah (13) and Isaac (6). He also has a few dogs that share the parsonage with the family!

It was at District Assembly in Indianapolis after hearing Dr. Carla Sunberg preach that someone in the crowd should raise their hand and answer the call to the ministry that Greta made that decision to finally say "yes" to what God was calling her to do. It was at District Assembly in Indianapolis after hearing Dr. Carla Sunberg preach that someone in the crowd should raise their hand and answer the call to the ministry that Greta made that decision to finally say "yes" to what God was calling her to do. Greta's heart is with the families in our church. Helping moms and dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles and beyond draw closer to Jesus, and thus, closer together. Greta just so happens to be married to our Lead Pastor Adam and the mom to three beautiful kids. Greta just received her very first local ministers license and has begun pursuing her ordination.

SHERRY ROBERTSON
Sherry Robertson has been in some form of leadership at R1 since 1991. She loves the Lord and loves to serve wherever He wants her to serve! She not only manages the finances of our church but also faithfully leads and teaches our HYR Calling Youth group each Wednesday evening.

Fran serves as our faithful Women's Ministry director. Her desire is to speak Jesus into the lives of each lady who comes through our doors.

Sue is in her 17th year as our NMI Director. She loves the mission of the Church of the Nazarene and makes sure we do our part in supporting our missions both at home and abroad.

Vicki has always felt the tug to work with teens and youth, and since coming to R1, that tug has only gotten stronger! Her heart is to help our teens in their walk with Jesus and to help them as they transition into adulthood!

Nancy has been involved in children's ministry at R1 since 1984 and loves seeing kids learn and develop their own walks with Jesus!
